Contacting different companies to drive onsite and find out the model needed.
Waiting for the technician to order the remote and drive back onsite.
Waiting for the remotes to be programmed and delivered.
Pay expensive call-out fees, along with time and remote costs.
This method is not only costly but also time-consuming and inefficient.
Nope, our receiver and remote are encrypted with a special Rolling Code with another layer of security. You must use only our remotes otherwise they won't work!
When we program the receiver for you, we will learn the remote/s you ordered and also program a set of "digital" remotes. When a remote is learned by the receiver, its unique ID is stored in the receiver's memory.
When you request new remotes from us, we will use those virtual ID codes from our database and assign the ID to the new remote. This way, the new remote will be recognized by the receiver and will work immediately!
This is a low voltage device and can be installed by anyone with basic skills. However, we highly recommend having a professional install it to ensure the correct power supply and proper wiring. Incorrect installation could result in the device not working and may even damage the control board. Remember: if the device is damaged due to incorrect wiring, the warranty will be voided, and no refund will be issued.
The receiver must be powered by 24V AC/DC (most automation systems can supply this voltage). If your system uses 12V, you will need to install a 24V power supply. Additionally, you will need to wire the OUT1 or OUT2 outputs to the correct input on the automation's control board. Please refer to the installation manual or contact us with a picture of the control board, and we will help you find the right input! Remember, if you are not familiar with these tasks, call a professional!
If you have trouble installing or understanding how to manage and order remotes and receivers, we can help. We can also handle the installation for you. Just contact us!
